Nelson Rogoza, left, received the Township of Alberton’s “Senior of the Year” award from Reeve Mike Hammond yesterday evening. Rogoza, 67, contributed to educating the community by teaching for 37 years, as well as being the principal at J.W. Walker and the former Alberton School. He also served on the planning board and various other township commitees.
