Samantha Halliday (at left) ran to the finish line during Sunday afternoon’s Terry Fox Run here. She was the top fundraiser at this year’s event, bringing in $1,662.70 in pledges. She once again ran in memory of her late uncle, Robert McNay. While some participants took it easy in the afternoon heat, more experience runners like Jake Tytler of Sault Ste. Marie (above) made quick work of the 2K route from the Sorting Gap Marina to La Verendrye Hospital and back.
