Fort Frances Angels’ pitcher Rylee Redford had to be nimble as she fielded a squibbler near home plate and attempted to make the throw to first base to gun out Jarrah Tom of the Sabaskong Tebinaak during her squad’s 18-9 win in a Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League Loser’s Side playoff elimination game last Wednesday night at the St. Francis Sports Field. There were no playoff games on Monday night due to the Civic holiday, with post-season play set to resume tonight.
