It was a strange and soggy summer, but life always finds a way back on track. To the horror of kids everywhere, normalcy came in the form of a fleet of school buses. Today is the first day of classes for all students in the Rainy River District School Board and the Northwest Catholic District School Board. Kids will be returning to a relatively normal year. Sports and clubs have returned. High school students will see the return of semesters, and although masks are encouraged, they are no longer required in most settings. Motorists are asked to be mindful of kids, bikes and buses – never pass a bus displaying flashing lights. Hoping all our students, teachers and support staff have a great year! – Allan Bradbury photo
