Amber Berg, right, was the one getting her hand raised in victory after capturing the Throwdown Championship Series title over fellow Winnipegger and 63-kg division fighter Halley McMillan in the main card of the “Throwdown at the Duke” Muay Thai kickboxing event at the Couchiching Arena on Saturday night. Berg was awarded the win after McMillan’s coach and event organizer, Dave Zuniga, wouldn’t let his fighter continue after the second round due to swelling around her left eye.
