Val Carrier (foreground) and Carol Livingston sliced up the apple and pumpkin pies that were being served up for dessert at the annual community Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the local Salvation Army at noon on Friday. Those who came out to the Citadel were treated to a meal of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and other holiday favourites.
