Terry Fox flag goes up at Civic Centre

Organizers and supporters of the local Terry Fox run, along with Fort Frances mayor Andrew Hallikas, right, raised the Terry Fox flag on Monday morning in recognition of the annual fundraising event. The local Terry Fox run is scheduled to go ahead this Sunday, September 20, at the Nanicost building on Couchiching First Nation. Registration for the run is scheduled for noon, with the run itself getting underway at 1 p.m., following an opening ceremony.
