Ian McLennan watched as his tee shot headed down the third fairway yesterday morning during the senior men’s golf tournament at Kitchen Creek Golf Club. McLennan would shoot a round of 77 to finish in a tie for third place with Kerry Elwood in the first flight, with first place honours going to Greg Tighe after he shot a round of 73. Other flight winners yesterday were Kerry Westlund (second flight), Blake Cawston (third flight), Tom Foley (fourth flight), John Sisulak (fifth flight), and Bill Daley (sixth flight).
