The Teddy Bear Picnic returned in full swing to the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre on Friday, July 15, 2022. Community partners and organizations lined up plenty of booths with activities ranging from facepainting and learning Ojibwe, to fun fishing and a petting zoo, and even fortune-telling and a Teddy Bear first aid tent. The event was a rousing success, with hundreds of families and children coming out to enjoy the festivities on a sunny summer day with their favourite teddies in tow. Hot dogs were available for sale on location, but attendees were also free to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy on the library grounds.
