Carol Tolley sat with Diarmid, Lindsay, and Katherine Payne and all their “Teddies” during the annual Fort Frances Public Library’s “Teddy Bear Picnic” on Friday. The event was supposed to take place at the Legion Park but due to heavy rainfall earlier in the day the event was taken to the cafeteria at the Fort Frances High School. Luckily, with a sunny break in the middle of the day, some groups were able to move their picnic outdoors onto the grass and have a picnic the way it was meant to be. At the picnic, there was a variety of activities to entertain the children inlcuding a duck pond, face painting, and a show.
