The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation and the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario were on the picket line yesterday for a one-day protest. The unions say this walkout could be the first of many if the government doesn’t change course in contract talks. Around 60,000 teachers, education workers and professional staff went on strike across the province.
