Lois Medhurst, left, Gemma Lamonato, and Diane Maxey shared a laugh during the annual Remembrance Day tea, hosted by the local Legion ladies auxiliary yesterday afternoon. The event, which drew hundreds of people, featured baking, hot dishes, candy, crafts, and draws. Remembrance Day ceremonies will take place this coming Sunday at 10:56 a.m. at the cenotaph. A lunch will follow at the Legion.
