Members of the Florida-based “Dasi Group” performed a Bharatanatyam-style dance at the Festival of India held last night at the Rainy Lake Square. The event drew out a sizeable crowd to watch several performances of different dance and musical styles from across the various cultures of India, even as gathering clouds let loose some rain as the evening went on. Unfortunately, an accident prevented the caterer from arriving, though organizers said they would be offering refunds to anyone who bought a ticket for the buffet.
