Cst. Peter LeDrew of the CN Police, with help from Treaty #3 Police, was busy this morning handing out information on rail safety to motorists at the crossing on Highway 11 at Couchiching as part of a blitz for “Rail Safety Week.” This year’s campaign, entitled “Target Zero,” aims to reduce the number of accidents, injuries, and fatalities caused by railway accidents to zero. Another blitz is planned at the Florence Street crossing in Emo on Friday (May 1) from 10-11 a.m.
