Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli, who is vying to become leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative party, mingled with about 30 supporters at a meet-and-greet yesterday evening at La Place Rendez-Vous. Fedeli also is a member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs, which heard presentations this morning during the 2015 pre-budget consultation held at the Rendez-Vous. Fedeli has taken credit for having the consultation here, especially in light of the much-publicized forest tenure issue. Randy Nickle, the PC candidate for Kenora-Rainy River is last year’s election, also was on hand last night.
