Doris Soucie of Dryden prepared to shoot her ball down the alley at Plaza Lanes yesterday afternoon as she competed in the Bowling competition portion of the District 1A Senior Games. Soucie and her team would end up missing out on the medals, with the gold going to the Fort Frances team of Betty Robinson, Lori Elliott, Julie Lowry, John Pohanka and Shirley Scofield. The games concluded earlier today with the finals in table shuffleboard at the Sister Kennedy Centre, and with a darts event at the Legion.
