The lookout tower was partially disassembled as of late yesterday as a crew from Tom Jones Construction continues to work on Phase II of the Heritage Tourism Project. According to the construction schedule, by the end of this month they should have disassembled the tower and pressure-washed all of the old paint off it, as well as have the piles set for the Hallett’s new location just off the shore of the riverfront near the Sorting Gap Marina.
