In celebration of International Women’s Day, Jill Coran demonstrated the six forms of Tai Chi during an event for women aged 55-plus yesterday at the United Native Friendship Centre. The women also enjoyed a Zumba fitness class, an urban pooling demonstration, and a tasty lunch. Tai Chi classes, hosted by the UNFC, will begin next Thursday (March 15) at 10:30 a.m. at Moss Yoga Studio for women 55-plus. To register, call Aimee Beazley at 274-8542.
