The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 was the place to be on Sunday afternoon for their Super Bowl Party. Festivities at the Legion kicked off at 1 p.m., with games, snacks and door prizes. Above, Dan Bird lined up his throw during the dart tournament held as part of the party. Right, Mary Brown and Harry Klyne showed off their hands as they took their competitors in the cribbage tournament that was also held before the big game. The party, of course, also included a showing of Sunday night’s football game, where the Kansas City Chiefs had their first Super Bowl win in 50 years with a 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
