Summer slide

Even as a few spots of rain cooled off the day, plenty of children and families had a blast at the United Native Friendship Centre (UNFC) Family Fun Day held at the Point on Friday to celebrate the waning days of summer. Many activities were set up for every age group, from bouncy castles and kickball to “fishing” for prizes. Even Sunset Water Sports got in on the action by providing tube rides. UNFC staff were also hard at work cooking up a hot dog and hamburger lunch for all involved. UNFC staff extended special thanks to Betty’s in downtown Fort Frances for helping to supply the materials needed for several stations.
