The Substance Abuse Prevention Team (SAPT) held a barbecue and handed out essential hygiene items to those experiencing homelessness and struggling with substance abuse on Tuesday. Team co-chair Hugh Dennis said in addition to handing out supplies, the reason for the event was to make people aware that the SAPT is active, working and growing in the community.
