Paramedic Robin Pollard showed Brady Morrisseau first-hand how the Rainy River District EMS’ Power-LOAD system, which lifts and lowers the stretcher into and out of the ambulance, works during the third-annual community barbecue celebrating safety at Point Park on Saturday. About 250 people turned out for the free event organized by the Rainy River District Substance Abuse Prevention Team (SAPT), Safe Communities Rainy River District, Rainy River District Community Policing Committee, and Fort Frances Kiwanis Club.
