Britainee Kellar, left, and her son, Connor, enjoyed strawberry shortcake and a nice chat with her grandmother–and Connor’s great-grandmother–Betty Batiuk, during the annual “Strawberry Social” yesterday afternoon at La Verendrye Hospital. Hosted by the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary, the popular fundraiser also included baking, books, plants, and a white elephant table, along with “Lucky Dozen” and “Pick-a-Strawberry.
