Future J.W. Walker School students Owen Gibson, left, and Parker Lake worked on their engineering skills at a building centre during the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) family night there yesterday evening. The packed gymnasium offered a variety of hands-on activities, including painting, math games, robots, and more. Several district schools took part in “STEAM” nights last month while Mine Centre School will host one May 13 and Robert Moore School on June 9.
