Think there’s nothing to do during the new state of emergency? Think again! Although indoor gatherings are banned, and outdoor ones are limited to groups of five, the province is allowing citizens to head outdoors for exercise for the next 28 days. Above, Nash Dolyny and Mason Hebert hit the outdoor McIrvine Rink in Fort Frances during their remote learning nutrition break. They had the entire rink to themselves. Fishermen in Rainy River had an easy way to isolate in their huts. A snowball fight against your siblings (right) is a great way to burn off some steam. (Note: all photos taken before the provincial announcement.) What is your family doing to stay busy and safe during our lock-down? Building the biggest lego tower ever? Breaking out the board games? Hitting the trails, or outdoor rinks? Building a fort? Take a high resolution picture and send it to us so we can share it with other readers! Send your pictures to tips@fortfrances.com.
