Grade 8 students Jillian Calder, right, and Katrina Slomke showed off their science project, entitled “What Gets You Pumping,” during the J.W. Walker School science fair last Wednesday. The winners from Grade 7/8 included Angie Redford (gold), Jacob Albright and Brady Bodnarchuk (silver), and Rachel Anderson and Shallin Scott-MacNeil (bronze), while the Grade 4-6 winners were Monikka Ruppenstein and Chloe Dolyny (gold), Emma Toriseva (silver), and Piper Lidkea and Emma Bodnarchuk (bronze). The Sunset Country Regional Science Fair will be held there on Saturday.
