Diane Maxey bid on an item during the 13th-annual “Spirit of Christmas” fundraiser Sunday afternoon and evening at La Place Rendez-Vous. The event brought in more than $13,000 for the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Fort Frances “Community Chest.”
