Sarah Hudson handed over a bag full of food donations to CN Police Cst. Pete LeDrew at The Place on Saturday during the fourth-annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event hosted by the local OPP, with the assistance the CN Police, Treaty #3 Police, and Rainy River District Emergency Medical Services (EMS). With cruisers also located at Walmart and Safeway here, as well as Cloverleaf in Emo and Beaver Mills in Rainy River, generous donations from the public filled up a total of 37-and-a-half cruisers (including ambulances). These donations will help to fill all the district food banks, in addition to bolstering the annual community Christmas dinner in Fort Frances.
