June Keddie admired this tree made of wine—one of the more than 130 items up for grabs yesterday afternoon during the “Spirit of Christmas” at La Place Rendez-Vous. Hosted by the La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary, the event featured a silent auction, refreshments, a bake table, knitting table, and gently-used Christmas decor to purchase and raised roughly $6,000 to go towards new items for the hospital.
