A number of items already have been donated for the upcoming “Spirit of Christmas” fundraising event, which will take place Sunday, Nov. 11 from 4-8 p.m. at La Place Rendez-Vous. Wonderful crafts, decorations, artwork, and baking will be featured in a silent auction, and there also be a live action portion, along with coffee, dainties, and draws. Proceeds will be shared between the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Fort Frances “Community Chest.” People are reminded that donations for the event will be accepted until next Friday (Nov. 9).
