Students in Ms. Armour’s Grade 4/5 class at J.W. Walker School were treated to a visit by award-winning First Nations’ author Larry Loyie on Monday morning. Coming all the way from Alberta, Loyie, along with his partner, writer, and editor, Constance Brissenden, has been visiting various classrooms in the area to talk about the writing process as well as the four books he’s written (available at Betty’s here).
