Silver Cross Mother Jean Legarie, centre, was the first person to lay a wreath at the cenotaph during Remembrance Day services hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 earlier today. Several hundred people gathered for the annual ceremony honouring those who gave their lives in defence of Canada’s freedoms and values.
