Fort Frances Mayor Roy Avis paid his respects during the laying of wreaths at the cenotaph at the Fort Frances Cemetery as part of Remembrance Day ceremonies here earlier today. A bitter wind didn’t prevent several hundred residents from being on hand to salute those who fought and died in battle.
