The pandemic has forced everyone to rethink how to hold their events safely, and it certainly works in Knox United Church’s favour that they had a built in barrier ready to keep the public and church volunteers safely distanced during their soup sale on Saturday. Parishioners made hundreds of 32 oz. containers worth of hamburger, wild rice and lentil soups for the sale from recipes shared through the church bulletin, and even with the existing barriers made sure to wear masks and keep as socially distanced as possible throughout the day.
