Debbie Fairbanks, with Couchiching Treatment and Support Services, and Heidi Smith of the United Native Friendship Centre were among those who marched along Scott Street late yesterday morning as part of the Mino-Bimaadiziwin “Living the Good Life” sobriety walk in conjunction with National Addictions Awareness Week. Other events slated for this week include a prescription safety workshop for seniors tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Couchiching multi-use facility and a display by the local Substance Abuse Prevention Team at Fort High tomorrow morning.
