The sliding hill was full at Millennium Park in Alberton on Monday afternoon. The family fun day put on by the Alberton Rec. Committee was one of many events happening for Family day. The nearby ice rink was busy as was the rink shack as people picked up hot dogs, hot chocolate, popcorn and s’mores. Other events included UNFC’s event at the Couchiching multi-use facility and free skating and swimming at the Fort Frances Memorial Sports Centre.
