Rainycrest residents were treated to a sneak preview of this year’s Christmas cantata—entitled “The First Noel”—yesterday evening at Rainycrest Long-term Care. The actual cantata, once again being directed by Diane Maxey, will be held this Sunday (Dec. 7) at 3 p.m. at the New Beginnings Fellowship here. Admission is free but a free-will offering will be taken at the door. An encore performance of the cantata then is slated for Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in International Falls.
