Aelise Lucas-Engberg skated the puck over the offensive blueline and looked to get the Emo Express Green’s offence going during the second period of Emo’s 4-0 loss to the International Falls Squirts in the ‘B’ final of the Fort Frances Minor Hockey Association’s annual Atom ‘A’ tournament on Sunday afternoon at the Ice For Kids Arena. The Express Green finished with a 3-3 record at the tourney to finish as the runners-up on the ‘B’-side. The Fort Frances Rainy Lake Attack compiled a 3-2 record, the Fort Frances Causeway Cougars went 2-3, the Fort Frances Gillons’ Sharks were 1-4, while the Express White wound up 3-2. The Westfort Rangers (Thunder Bay) claimed the ‘A’ final later Sunday with a thrilling 6-4 win over the Neebing Blackhawks.
