This ring-billed gull was spotted perch atop a post at the end of a dock along Front Street here Monday evening. Along with swans, ducks, and Canada geese, the gulls recently began reappearing in Borderland. Local lore has it that once the gulls return, there only are three snowfalls left before spring arrives for good.
