Talk about showing your support! Fort Frances Lakers’ head coach and Wayne Strachan and some Lakers’ players hopped on over from where their game against the Thunder Bay North Stars was taking place on the Ice For Kids rink, and looked on, as the Muskie boys’ hockey team battled the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints during Game 3 of the best-of-three NorWOSSA final last Tuesday night at the ’52 Canadians Arena. On the ice, Muskie forward Brady Bodnarchuk tried his best to strip the puck from Carter Dewson of the Saints during the first period. The Muskies went on to win the clinching game 6-3 and earn their first NorWOSSA title since 2017.
