Matt Barron, left, helped Gianna Gushulak and Peyten DuCharme with unwrapping the shibori dyed bags they made as part of Community Living Fort Frances and District’s open air art studio that was held at the Point Park on Tuesday. Shibori dyeing is a Japanese method of dyeing textiles by binding them in different ways to produce different patterns and effects, similar to tie-dyeing. The open air art studio won’t run next week due to the civic holiday on Monday, but will resume the week after.
