Crews have been hard at work on the Fort Frances Water Tower over the past week, including finishing the scaffolding and now placing drop sheets along the exterior in preparation for sandblasting the exterior of the tower. The project is expected to last into the late fall and will cost the town roughly $4.1 million, but the work being done to both the exterior and interior of the tower will ensure it can continue to operate safely for another 20 years.
