Gloria Tibbs, correctional officer from the Fort Frances Jail, put an end to Sgt. Chris Bonner-Vickers’ longtime moustache on Friday as a number of onlookers smirked at the sight. The Community Chest fundraiser—entitled “Locks for Locals”—saw $800 in pledges raised by Bonner-Vickers and Tibbs, who later had her head shaved. A barbecue held in conjunction with the event, as well as additional donations, raised just over $2,300 in all.
