Heather Hudson and Bonnie Hughes of Rainycrest accepted a book donation from Laura McCormick, Stevie-Lee Kaemingh and Sara Christiansen of the Fort Frances branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association earlier this month during “Mental Health Week” (May 1-7). The book, entitled “Checklist for Change,” is a valuable resource, providing easy-to-use tools for organizations to put dementia ability methods into practice. Copies of the book were presented to long-term care homes across the region during “Mental Health Week.”
