Gerri Yerxa, with the local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, spoke to residents at Rainycrest about their mental health during an informational booth set up Wednesday afternoon. Afterwards, Yerxa and the rest of the CMHA administration presented Rainycrest with a book entitled “Checklist for Change,” which can be used as a resource for long-term care homes to put dementia ability methods into practice.
