Capts. Angel and Marlene Sandoval of the local Salvation Army joined deputy mayor Sharon Tibbs and Canadian Tire employee Joleen Pettis to kick off the Christmas kettle campaign Monday morning at Canadian Tire. The Salvation Army would like to have kettles out at area businesses Monday through Saturday until Dec. 24, but desperately needs more volunteers to ring the bells. To volunteer, drop by the Citadel (316 Victoria Ave.) or call 274-3871.
