Gord McTaggart addressed the haggis Friday evening during the St. Andrew’s supper at St. John’s Anglican Church, after which those on hand enjoyed a traditional Scottish meal. Pipe major Dr. Bruce Lidkea of the Fort Frances Highlanders piped in the haggis, which carried by Jacob McIntosh. Monday was the actual day commemorating St. Andrew, who is the patron saint of Scotland. The supper was a fundraiser for Eagles Wings Children’s Village in Uganda.
