Playing “Scotland the Brave,” pipe major Dr. Bruce Lidkea of the Fort Frances Highlanders piped in the haggis, carried by Jacob McIntosh, on Friday evening during the St. Andrew’s supper at St. John’s Anglican Church. Gord McTaggart addressed the haggis, after which those on hand enjoyed a traditional Scottish meal. Today is St. Andrew’s Day, who is the patron saint of Scotland.
