Angie Redford, a Grade 8 student at J.W. Walker School, showed off her project that tested the cleaning power of dish detergents last Wednesday during the science fair there. Redford captured gold in the Grade 7/8 division while Jacob Albright and Brady Bodnarchuk earned silver. Rachel Anderson and Shallin Scott-MacNeil were awarded bronze. The Grade 4-6 winners were Monikka Ruppenstein and Chloe Dolyny (gold), Emma Toriseva (silver), and Piper Lidkea and Emma Bodnarchuk (bronze). These students have the opportunity to compete in the Sunset Country Regional Science Fair, which will be held Saturday at J.W. Walker.
