Muskie golfer Alex McDonald launched his ball out of the greenside bunker on the 13th hole at Heron Landing Golf Course during the NWOSSAA championship yesterday. Unfortunately, McDonald, who had an appendectomy just last month, had to retire early due to discomfort from the surgery. St. Ignatius (Thunder Bay) took the overall team title while Dryden’s Brett Getson (77) and Josh Borton (79) of Red Lake nabbed the individual berths at the all-Ontarios later this month near St. Catharines.
